“Disk Error”
This 7-Track experimental audio-visual project is a recreation of an infamous pirated analog television feed that broadcasted for sixteen months before being shut down.

In May 2010 during the Canadian digital TV transition, someone (presumed more than one accomplice) successfully hosted a connection through a soon-to-be defunct analog transmitter in Chatham-Kent, Ontario. When removing/dismantling the transmitter in August 2011, it was discovered to have been broadcasting sporadically at least seven times. Upon commencing an investigation with the police and RCMP in the Windsor/Detroit area, it had been noted complaints of unintelligible signals being discovered.
The officers insisted the reports were prank calls, and that standard static interference had been caused by heavy satellite TV usage in the area. - Canada’s Digital Television Transition by Michael Renn (2015)
